Trained as a CMA Accountant, Claude McKenzie has worked in varied manufacturing companies in Quebec. He has worked, namely, as a Production Cost Accountant, as a Financial Controller and as a Financial Director before acquiring a furniture manufacturing company. He has made it grow up to 300% with his team in 10 years. After selling that company, he has founded Neotech Management. He still works there, in collaboration with BDC Bank to help his clients in their Financial Management.
In 2020, he met Mr. Sylvain Lavallee, and they founded Excel-Lance Counseling Services together.

Founder of XLS-L, Sylvain Lavalee has a Ph.D. in Mathematics. He also teaches Chemistry, Physics, Physical Sciences and Computer Science at the Centre d’Education des Adults of the Chemin-du-Roy School Board. He specialises in data retrieval, in accountability, in administrative tools development as well as in Google Sheet and scoreboards.

Graduate in Accounting Science from the UQTR, I am currently on my way to obtain my official CPA designation. Outside the accounting world, I find my balance in dance, arts, the outdoors and traveling. My commitment in school life and my knowledge in event planning, namely in my student’s association, reveal my enthusiasm towards teamwork and building relationships. My experience of living in France to complete my bachelor’s degree has broaden my perspectives on these matters. I chose accounting to combine my passion for business and my desire to help others.
